Conservation of our land and local biodiversity is a community effort. It is essential to our quality of life and our proud Kentucky heritage. To continue our efforts to promote conservation and make Split Rock Conservation Park a valuable resource to our community we need your help.
Your financial support is needed to continue our efforts. Your tax-deductible contribution will help provide the support Wildlife Conservation Kentucky, Inc. needs to accomplish some of the following activities.
- Help preserve Split Rock Conservation Park. Split Rock is a location in Western Boone County at the junction of Woolper Creek and the Ohio River. This area has long been known for its geological and ecological uniqueness and will be the center of outdoor educational programs and habitat restoration.
- Develop outdoor educational programs that focus on our local wildlife resources and sound conservation practices. Students of all ages will have the unique opportunity to participate in outdoor programs that will complement Kentucky's learning standards and core assessment.
- Make our unique and valuable biodiversity easily accessible to students in Northern Kentucky and surrounding areas.
- Help protect and restore wildlife habitat and promote these projects as examples of good resource stewardship, and as the focus of education programs.
