Jacobs, Split Rock Conservation Park, Presented with Environmental Quality Award

April 17, 2009, Cincinnati, OH -
Mark Jacobs, who graduated from NKU in 1984 with a degree in anthropology, was honored in April 2009 by the Kentucky’s Environmental Quality Commission for his development of Wildlife Conservation Kentucky, Inc. and the management of Split Rock Conservation Park.  On May 28, 2009, Mark received an award from the Boone County Preservation Review Board, which recognizes local organizations and individuals committed to the preservation of Boone County’s history. Boone County’s Preservation Review Board presented the 2009 Local Organization Preservation Award to Wildlife Conservation Kentucky.

April 17, 2009
Executive Director, Mark Jacobs, receives the Kentucky Environmental Quality Commission Award for the development of Wildlife Conservation Kentucky and the management of Split Rock Conservation Park.

February 8, 2008
During NKU”s 40th Anniversary, the NKU Alumni Awards presented to Mark Jacobs the Distinquished Service Award for his creation and dedication to Split Rock Conservation Park.

2006
Cinergy Environmental Impact Award presented to Mark Jacobs, by Rhonda Whitaker, Area Director for Cinergy.  This award was given by the Northern Kentucky United Community Awards and sponsored by The Community Recorder.
